When I logged in to Instagram this morning I got to learn that today was no bra day. Well, I did not think much of it until now (14:00, Thursday 13 Oct 2016).

#NoBraDay is trending world-wide on twitter so I got curious and  I clicked to read. Ladies are flashing their ‘coconuts’ (a word my guy friends use when they talk about breasts) and hash-raging #nobraday.  While browsing through and seeing comments and images I got to know that No Bra Day is actually a breast cancer initiative of raising awareness for the importance of breast cancer screening, recognising the symptoms of breast cancer and regular self-examination. This campaign encourages woman to leave their bras at home on October 13th.

Had I known this before, I would have done the same and probably posted on Facebook about it, unfortunately I did not know.

The whole of October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, the social media hashtag #nobraday encourages woman to go braless for 24 hours. Its still October 13 so I am joining in on this initiative, I will not be flashing my coconuts on camera for the whole world to see though. I know, sorry :)

Celebrating our Swazi Woman: Athlete Phumlile Ndzinisa

Woman #2 on my top 2 Woman worth celebrating in Swaziland. I catch up with the fastest female in Swaziland,  Phumlile Ndzinisa. The 24 year old young Swaziland was representing Swaziland at the 2016 Olympics games in Brazil. Due to an injury she came 5th in the 2016 Olympics qualifiers. They are due back in the country on the 25th of August through King Mswati III International Airport.  This was during the Commonwealth games.  Thank-you for allowing me the opportunity to celebrate you as a woman in the sports field.  :) Tell me how you got to the 2016 Olympics.  Nothing was easy but I have been training for it. I started Athletics 2009 where I discovered  I can be better than what I was before. In 2010, Swaziland hosted zone 6 games where I won a bronze medal in 400m event. Farai Foundation Charity event is yet again coming to Swaziland and with much exciting news!  HRH Prince Majaha delivering his speech HRH Prince Majaha has been announced as Farai Foundation patron. Farai Foundation founder Farai Chabata announced this at the preparations meeting held on the 18 th of November 2016 at the Happy Valley Hotel.
