Congratulations Refiloe on being a new mom!

It is Mother's Day and I thought it cool 😎 to talk to two young mothers. First up is business woman (REFNO Investments Director), accountant and happily married Mrs Refiloe Gama. God blessed her with a princess, Sivuselelwe Gama on the 4th of July 2017. Her second name is Prosper ( speaking to her destiny that she would prosper in everything she did especially financially).







Let's talk about Mother’s Day;
1.       How does it feel to be celebrating your first Mother's Day?
It’s a feeling that cannot be described with words but I can say it feels good. I realise that there is a higher power and not everyone is given the opportunity to raise a child or to have the gift of a child.

2.       Did Mother’s day have a significant meaning while growing up?
Mothers day, to me, means a day where all female guardians need to be celebrated. Some may not be biological parents but the fact that they have opened their homes and raised you they need to be celebrated.

3.       Are you the mother you always wanted to be?
Oh my God lol actually funnily I was not yet prepared to be a mum. My husband and I had planned to wait a few years before having kids. We wanted our personal ambitions to be in check first. My daughter Sivuselelwe was a surprise we had not expected yet but we are very glad God blessed us with her. Well not really, I thought I would never shout at my child but I find myself doing the things I promised not to. I said I wouldn't spoil her but I am always shopping the latest clothes for her.

4.       Any plans for Mother's Day?
I don't have any but I hope my husband has planned something, he has to. [chuckles]

5.       Favourite quote on motherhood?
The moment a child is born a mother is born too.

6.       Fav daughter moments?
Probably my favourite moment with my daughter is when I sing she can't speak yet but she makes sounds along and claps and dances with me 😍

7.       What do you two get up to?
We both love music, we play together, we watch cartoons specifically princess Sofia which has been a struggle for me as I don't like cartoons. We both love daddy and are so fascinated by him. I get jealous at times when I see their bond and how they adore each other lol. My daughter is so independent and already shows signs that she will be a force to reckon with as it is either her way or nothing.

8.       Any words to our readers?

Thank you so much for this platform :), I say to all the mothers out there continue the great work you are doing and to the mother's that have abounded their kids please it is not too late to rectify your mistake go get that child he or she needs you.

Celebrating our Swazi Woman: Athlete Phumlile Ndzinisa

Woman #2 on my top 2 Woman worth celebrating in Swaziland. I catch up with the fastest female in Swaziland,  Phumlile Ndzinisa. The 24 year old young Swaziland was representing Swaziland at the 2016 Olympics games in Brazil. Due to an injury she came 5th in the 2016 Olympics qualifiers. They are due back in the country on the 25th of August through King Mswati III International Airport.  This was during the Commonwealth games.  Thank-you for allowing me the opportunity to celebrate you as a woman in the sports field.  :) Tell me how you got to the 2016 Olympics.  Nothing was easy but I have been training for it. I started Athletics 2009 where I discovered  I can be better than what I was before. In 2010, Swaziland hosted zone 6 games where I won a bronze medal in 400m event. Farai Foundation Charity event is yet again coming to Swaziland and with much exciting news!  HRH Prince Majaha delivering his speech HRH Prince Majaha has been announced as Farai Foundation patron. Farai Foundation founder Farai Chabata announced this at the preparations meeting held on the 18 th of November 2016 at the Happy Valley Hotel.
