Kunjalo, Live and Direct with Dumisani Hlophe.

Dumisani Hlophe is known to many as Mr Kunjalo. Born and bred in Motshane, Swaziland, he is one of the many Swazis out there who are flying the country's flag high and proving to the world how much talent the kingdom has.

He was a keynote speaker at this event.
He recently was a Keynote speaker at the International Leadership Conference hosted by Gordon Institute of Business Science that pitted speakers from all over the world. He is also also multi-talented as in his spare time he plays music as a deejay. He is also admired for his tongue-in-cheek posts on social media about relationships. Showing he balances his time well.

Kunjalo is also the brand name of his company Kunjalo Centre for Development Research as well as Kunjalo Branding and Communications. It means 'On Point' and over the years he has been on point gracing TV screens and newspapers in South Africa doing analysis of various issues. He has also worked at many of these media houses there.

Kunjalo branding and Communication brings you 'KUNJALO LIVE AND DIRECT' dialogue event on the 30th of April at The Happy Valley Hotel in Swaziland. The event scheduled to start at 6pm will only cost you E250.00 which is really a small token as the topics that will be discussed are of depth.

I catch up with Dumisani just to get an overview of who he is and about this event. .

GA (Golden Apple):Hi Dumisani, I trust you are well. I see you are a governance specialist, what is your educational background?

DH (Dumisani Hlophe) : I have a Masters Degree in Political Science. Currently studying for a Doctorate in Political leadership and government performance through UNISA.

GA: That is impressive and explains your current work position. You currently reside and work in South Africa, how have you managed to make your way through to most TV media houses?

DH: through writing articles in developmental issues. The more I write, the more I am asked to do media interviews across the board.

GA: Well well well, there is a future in writing after all :) . I have seen some of your interviews on TV, you sometimes clad in Swazi traditional attire. Why has it been important for you to stay true to your origins?
Dumisani in Swazi traditional attire.
DH: It is important to be grounded in One's identity. When I am comfortable in my own identity, I perform better on the duties I am expected to deliver. Being true to myself motivates me to be great at what I do.

GA: Doesn't it have an impact on your career in politics? As you know some say, "stick to your own country's politics."

DH: it puts me at ease, and relaxed. This enable me to excel at what I do at that moment.

articles.
GA: What then inspired you to come back to Swaziland and host this event? What are you trying to achieve with this event?

DH: Swaziland has too many educated and smart people. They need platforms to engage on developmental issues. This is my contribution to the dialogue that will contribute to the growth and development of Swaziland.

GA: amazing, that is quite a unique way to give back. Mandela to Malema, what will this topic entail?

DH: Understanding of development dynamics in SA, how they impact on Swaziland, and what opportunities can be extracted from such.

GA: Great! lastly, who should attend this event?

DH: Everyone interested in understanding regional development issues. All who seek to grow personally and their organizations. Professionals, youth, government leaders and managers. All are welcome

In conclusion, I invite everyone to come through on the 30th. Its a dialogue event not to be missed. For more details fell free to contact 00268 7603 4267.
