I am sure a number of people have heard or read about Farai Foundation. Here is the lowdown.

Farai Foundation is a non-profit organization that operates exclusively for charitable purposes to support education in Southern Africa. It is concerned with putting Africa on the map and in essence Swaziland.

This year, Farai Foundation marks its 5th year in operation and 4th charity event. Here is a list of other events organised by Farai Foundation in association with partners in charity.

       1.  Zimbabwe, Thronhill High School, 2012 where a R220 000 basketball court was constructed. This was a joint venture event between Farai Foundation and Gridbow Engineers.

            2. Swaziland, Msunduza Primary School, 2013 where the school was cleaned, and E10 000 worth of items were donated. This was proudly supported by Bellcrack Engineers, Umnovu Concepts, Happy Valley Hotel, Mbabane City Council, Swazi Beverages and Build It Mbabane.

          3.Swaziland, SOS Children’s Village, 2014 where a clothes collection run was made, donate the clothes, food, and Christmas goodies.

This year, 2016, Farai Foundation goes to Ekwetsembeni Special School. This event provides a wonderful opportunity to do your bit for charity before the year ends. There will be games designed especially for children with disabilities and helping with mounting up a fence by the children’s playground. Mark your calendar! The time is 9am -3pm, the entry is free. Celebrating our Swazi Woman: Athlete Phumlile Ndzinisa

Woman #2 on my top 2 Woman worth celebrating in Swaziland. I catch up with the fastest female in Swaziland,  Phumlile Ndzinisa. The 24 year old young Swaziland was representing Swaziland at the 2016 Olympics games in Brazil. Due to an injury she came 5th in the 2016 Olympics qualifiers. They are due back in the country on the 25th of August through King Mswati III International Airport.  This was during the Commonwealth games.  Thank-you for allowing me the opportunity to celebrate you as a woman in the sports field.  :) Tell me how you got to the 2016 Olympics.  Nothing was easy but I have been training for it. I started Athletics 2009 where I discovered  I can be better than what I was before. In 2010, Swaziland hosted zone 6 games where I won a bronze medal in 400m event. HRH Prince Majaha Announced Patron For Farai Foundation

Farai Foundation Charity event is yet again coming to Swaziland and with much exciting news!  HRH Prince Majaha delivering his speech HRH Prince Majaha has been announced as Farai Foundation patron. Farai Foundation founder Farai Chabata announced this at the preparations meeting held on the 18 th of November 2016 at the Happy Valley Hotel. Farai Foundation Swaziland charity event crew The meeting was held in preparations for the Farai Foundation charity event scheduled for 3 December 2016 at Ekwetsembeni Special School in Mbabane, Swaziland.
